Why do the Revenge writers think I’d rather watch Michael Trucco die instead of Fauxmanda? Do they not read the Internet?
BBC America is now running the complete series of Battlestar Galactica from the very beginning. Part 1 of the miniseries premiered last night after the mid-season finale of Doctor Who. I had to watch it. I couldn’t look away. I was pulled in all over again.
And now I’m in full on BSG obsession mode (again), so beware, there will probably be an onslaught of cylon goodness coming your way in the next few days/weeks/months. I’ve missed this show, the story, and the characters so much. And every time I see Jamie Bamber’s face I can’t stop exclaiming, “How do you even exist with that face?” But I will tell you, I love knowing how it all ends this time. I love knowing the amazing story arcs these characters are going to make over four seasons, and I think it’s going to be fun watching them grow again.
I hope by posting about it I can get just a few more people to watch this show, because it really is a show you don’t want to go your whole life without seeing. It’s that good. And no, I’m not exaggerating. It’s not just a science fiction-type show, it’s a damn character drama, set in space, set during a war for the last people of humanity. You have the chance to see it all from the beginning Saturdays at 7 on BBC America. Do it. Watch it, guys. I promise it’s amazing. And seriously, if you don’t care about the story, just look at Jamie Bamber. And James Callis. And eventually you’ll find Michael Trucco. There’s no reason you shouldn’t want to drool over them. So just do it already.
